Le temps disperse parfois les familles, de près ou de loin. Certains membres peuvent même se retrouver isolés, seuls. Aujourd’hui les familles sont de plus en plus séparées, éparses à travers le monde, et la mienne en fait partie. Pour notre part, nous avons toujours été «assis sur une valise».

Mon projet d’édition est une tentative de reconstitution et de rapprochement des membres d’une lignée que la distance et le temps ont éloignés. Je tiens à révéler ce paradoxe dans l’objet éditorial lui-même.

Les trois fratries que j’ai photographiées, dissociées et recollées, formant des personnages hybrides, incarnent ma tentative et comblent l’absence de mapropre famille. La question du manque dans l’image est également centrale. Ce jeu de cache-cache où l’information est amenée par un système de repères, de marques et de légendes oriente le lecteur vers une position d’inspecteur, de chercheur voire dedétective. On retrouve les signes et les éléments élémentaires de la lecture de cartes géographiques, faisant écho à cet espace-temps familial reconstitué.

Les photographies colorées énigmatiques dont on cherche la clef sont des souvenirs des personnes, des lieux ou des objets. Elles n’ont pas été choisies pour leur qualité esthétique mais pour leur évocation personnelleet subjective d’une émotion ou d’un détail marquant, à la manière du punctum de Roland Barthes.

The time may scatter families from near and far. Some members may even find themselves isolated and alone. Today families are increasingly separated throughout the world, and mine is one of them. For our part, we have always been «sitting on a suitcase.» My publishing project is an attempt to reconstruction and reconciliation of members of a lineage that distance and time are far apart. I want to reveal this paradox in the editorial object itself.

The three siblings that I have photographed dissociated and glued together, forming hybrid characters embody my attempt and fill the absence of my own family. The issue of lack in the image is also central.This hide and seek game where information is fed by a system of benchmarks, brands and legends directs the reader to an inspector position, researcher or detective. There are the signs and the main elements of reading maps, echoing this family spacetime restored.

The enigmatic colorful photographs which one seeks the key are memories of people, places or objects. They were not chosen for their aesthetic and graphic quality but for the personal and subjective evocation of emotion or marking detail, in the manner of Roland Barthes’ punctum.

Время может разлететься семей из ближнего и дальнего зарубежья. Некоторые участники могут даже оказаться в изоляции и одиночестве. В трех братьев и сестер, которые я сфотографировал диссоциируют и склеены вместе, образуя гибридные персонажам воплощать свою попытку и заполнить отсутствие моего собственная семья. Загадочные красочные фотографии, которые кто-то ищет ключ воспоминания о людях, местах или объектах. Они не были выбраны за их эстетической и качества графики, но и для личного и субъективного вызывания эмоций или маркировки деталей, в виде Punctum Ролана Барта.
